Dr. Syeda Amena Kausar is a senior academic professional with over 19 years of experience in higher education, research supervision, and STEM mentorship. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science and currently serves as Assistant Professor and Head (I/c) of Genetics & Biotechnology at a Government Women's University in Telangana. She has supervised more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, published in UGC-listed and Scopus-indexed journals, and guided award-winning student researchers. As Co-Founder of SkillSTEM Academy, she supports students and early-career professionals in biotechnology, genetics, research writing, and career readiness, with a strong focus on women in STEM and ethical scientific practice.
